Effortless Advocacy

According to the definition of the noun advocacy, found at WordNet Search http://wordnet.princeton.edu, advocacy is the active support of an idea or cause etc.; especially the act of pleading or arguing for something. One definition for the adjective effortless, found at the same source, says that effortless means not showing effort or strain. Many of us think, "I would love to advocate more, but I am so tired, stressed, worn out, etc." It seems the solution may be in Effortless Advocacy; that is active support for ideas and causes near and dear to us, without strain. Sounds Simple. OK. Here are five ideas for Effortless Advocacy.

1. Put a magnetic ribbon or bumper sticker on your bumper. Time spent, Ten to fifteen minutes ordering the thing. Ten minutes when it comes opening the package and putting it on your car.

2. When you order your bumper advocacy magnet or sticker, order in bulk, you may save money. Hand out extras to people who also want to do effortless advocacy.

3. Use magnetic ribbons as decorations on gift packages at holiday times, birthdays, etc.

4. Same goes for those colored awareness bracelets and pins. Buy, wear, hand out extras and decorate gifts.

5. How about donating some ribbons in a pretty basket or box to your favorite advocacy organization. Let them set it up in their office or bring to meetings with a suggested donation sign attached.
